When I first saw this article, I have to admit that I did not know what an Anole was. Now I do I am still not one hundred percent sure I would want one as a pet. I am pretty sure I would want ten! Anoles are small lizards often mistakenly called Chameleons. The correct pronunciation is A-nole-ee. In size they range from 4 to 20 inches long including their tail. They have special toes designed for climbing and clinging to trees. They can change colors and often do so to indicate health or mood.
